Delete your Noongil account

You can start permanent deletion of your Noongil account and associated data from inside the app at any time — no email required.

How to delete your account

  1. Open the Noongil app on your phone (iOS or Android).
  2. Tap the Setup tab (bottom-right gear icon).
  3. Scroll to the Account section.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm by tapping Delete in the dialog.

You'll see a brief Deleting account… indicator while the app removes the account and primary Noongil data and schedules deletion or suppression with configured processors. When the in-app step finishes, you'll be returned to the sign-in screen. Processor requests may finish asynchronously.

What gets deleted

The deletion workflow covers:

  • Your account (Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google credentials linked to Noongil)
  • Your user profile (name, language, voice, role)
  • All check-in history (mood, sleep, symptoms, transcripts)
  • All medications and custom reminders
  • Companion memory entries
  • Caregiver voice messages
  • Caregiver relationships and invitation codes you created
  • Health graph data stored in our knowledge graph
  • Consent records
  • Device tokens used for notifications

What is kept, and for how long

Limited operational records may remain where needed to complete and prove deletion, protect the service, resolve billing, or meet a legal obligation. We minimize and restrict access to these records:

  • Pseudonymous server audit logs — bounded request metadata (such as route, timestamp, and response status) uses a keyed pseudonymous subject value rather than a raw account ID. Retention follows the reviewed production logging configuration and applicable requirements.
  • Subscription and billing records — Noongil does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Apple, Google, and our subscription processor may retain purchase, refund, tax, and transaction records as required to administer your subscription, prevent fraud, and comply with law. Deleting your Noongil account does not automatically cancel a store subscription; cancel it in your Apple or Google subscription settings.
  • Deletion evidence — a minimal receipt may be retained to record processor requests, retries, completion, or a legally required exception. It does not include your check-in or conversation content.
  • Backups and recovery systems — residual data may remain temporarily in protected recovery copies until the reviewed production rotation expires. Restored data remains subject to the deletion request.

We do not keep active copies of your profile, check-ins, reminders, transcripts, caregiver voice messages, or graph content after their deletion completes, except where a specific legal obligation requires a documented, access-limited retention exception.

Can't reach the in-app flow?

If you can't sign in or otherwise can't trigger the in-app deletion, email privacy@noongil.ai from the address you used to sign up. We'll verify ownership and complete the deletion manually within 30 days.
